Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 August 2026

Echo is operated by Echo Wellness. Privacy is not a feature of this service — it is the service. This page describes exactly what happens to your information.

What we do not collect

Your conversation and AI processing

To generate responses, the text you write is transmitted to a third-party AI provider that processes it and returns a reply. This processing is transient and your conversation is not used to train AI models. We do not retain a copy.

Your takeaway card

The summary card produced at the end of a session is generated on demand and sent to your browser once. If you download it, the copy on your device is the only copy that exists. We do not keep one.

Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway. We never receive, see, or store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details. The gateway necessarily records the transaction and the payer's details for legal and financial reasons, and its own privacy policy applies to that. Your payment is never linked to the content of your conversation — we retain only the payment reference needed to issue a refund, and it is not connected to anything you wrote.

Technical information

Our servers process standard web request information (such as IP address) as an unavoidable part of delivering the website, and to protect the service from abuse. An approximate country is derived at page load so that the correct crisis helpline numbers can be shown to you; this is not stored against you. We do not use analytics or third-party tracking.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The payment gateway may set cookies necessary to process your payment.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information. We disclose information only where required by law — and note that because conversations are never stored, there is nothing of that kind for us to disclose.

Your rights

Because we hold no account and no conversation data, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on request. For questions about payment records held by us or by the payment gateway, please contact us.

Children

Echo is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published here at the time of your session is the one that applies to it.
