Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 1 August 2026
Echo sells a single session at a time. There is no subscription and no recurring payment, so there is nothing to cancel — you simply do not buy another session.
Automatic refunds
You do not need to ask for a refund in these cases; it is issued automatically:
- If you appear to be in crisis. If your messages indicate you may be at risk of harm, the session shows crisis helpline information and your payment is refunded in full. We do not charge anyone for a session that turns out to be a crisis.
- If the session fails to start. If payment succeeds but a session cannot be delivered because of a fault on our side, the payment is refunded in full.
Refunds on request
If the service failed you technically — the session broke, responses stopped, or you were charged more than once — contact us with the payment reference from your bank or UPI app and we will refund you in full. Please write within 7 days of the session.
When we do not refund
A completed session is a service that has been delivered, so we do not generally refund a session that ran to its end. We also cannot offer refunds based on the emotional outcome of a session — as stated in our Terms, we make no promise about how a session will make you feel.
If you feel something went genuinely wrong, write to us anyway. We would rather hear about it.
How refunds are made
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment gateway. Once issued, the amount typically reaches your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
